Stolen Parking Machine Found

The parking machine stolen from a car park in Lutterworth last month has been found dumped in a field.
It is too badly damaged to be used again though, after it was smashed out of the ground in the Church Close car park by a vehicle.

There was no cash in the machine at the time, as it was stolen following one of Harborough Council free parking Saturdays in the run-up to Christmas.
It was discovered off Mere Lane in Bitteswell.
Meanwhile, vandals have damaged a pay an display machine in Market Harborough’s Sainsbury’s car park.
It’s believed the screen was smashed on Wednesday evening or early yesterday.
