Burglars Target Village Homes

Sentimental jewellery has been stolen by burglars who broke into two homes on Friday.

A 18ct white gold necklace with a diamond pendant (pictured left) was among items taken from a house on Main Street, East Farndon, sometime between 10.30am and 4pm, as well as a matching white, pink and yellow gold bracelet, earrings and necklace set and cash.

Meanwhile, rings, necklaces and laptop computers were stolen after a house in Nobold Court, Clipston, was raided sometime between 10am and 1.45pm.

On both occasions the intruders forced open back doors.
