Plans to redevelop a derelict site in the centre of Kibworth have been given the go-ahead.
Planning permission was granted last night for the conversion of the former Rose and Crown pub into four houses and four flats, and to build nine homes in the grounds of the Leicester Road site.

Harborough Council’s planning meeting heard of concerns about the development further increasing parking problems in the area, but councillors voted to approve the scheme.
The site has stood derelict for over four years, having most recently been an Indian Restaurant.
