£7,500 Reward To Find Burglary Suspect

Written by on 17th April 2025

A reward of £7,500 is being offered for information leading to the arrest of man wanted in connection with burglaries across Harborough and elsewhere.

Daniel Casey from Leicester has been on the run for several months and charity Crimestoppers has put up the money in a bid to locate him.

The 33-year-old, who has links to Northamptonshire, is also wanted by Leicestershire Police on recall to prison, having failed to abide by the terms of his licence after serving a jail term for conspiracy to burgle.

Officers say the financial losses from burglaries Casey is linked to amount to at least £200,000, with the theft of valuable jewellery, vehicles, and cash, affecting numerous victims.

They are concerned about the potential risk he poses due to his history, including suspected current offences while on licence for similar crimes.
