Market Harborough In Bloom thanks supporters after judging visit

Market Harborough In Bloom is thanking supporters after welcoming judges from the East Midlands in Bloom competition to the town.
The judging forms part of the annual East Midlands in Bloom awards, which assess towns and communities on floral displays, environmental efforts, community involvement and overall presentation.
This year marks the group’s 30th anniversary, with volunteers celebrating the milestone with a special birthday cake during the judging day on Thursday.

The team received praise during the visit for its colourful floral displays and for strong partnership working with Harborough District Council and community groups across the town.

The judging tour included key sites such as the town centre, Welland Park, the railway station and other community spaces, where volunteers and partners showcased months of work preparing for the competition.
Market Harborough In Bloom is hoping to win the Large Town category for a fifth consecutive year and results will be announced in September.
