Monster Trail Launches in Harborough Parks

Monsters have been hidden in parks and open spaces across Harborough to encourage children to get active in a fun way.

The ‘Monster Trail’ launched today in Market Harborough’s Welland Park to coincide with the start of half-term and is also running at Kibworth Recreation Ground, Smeeton Road Park in Kibworth, Lutterworth Country Park and Frolesworth Road Recreation Ground in Broughton Astley.

The monsters have been designed by children in South Leicestershire and trail maps are available from a dedicated website and, once found, youngsters can scan each monster’s QR code and collect a code to earn a medal.

The fun trail is running until the end of next month and is part of the ‘Harborough on the Move’ programme, organised by The South Leicestershire School Sport Partnership, supported by Harborough District Council and Active Together Harborough.
