£1m Community Fund To Benefit All Areas Of Harborough

The District Council has launched a new £1m Community Fund to boost areas across Harborough.
Groups will be invited to apply for a share of the cash for projects which promote health and well-being, help create a sustainable environment or sense of pride in their area or that support businesses.

Harborough District Council Cabinet members following approval of the Community Fund
Money will be split between all towns and parishes across the district, including £150,000 for Market Harboorough and the same amount for Lutterworth.
The project is aimed at strengthening working relationships between the council and its parishes and towns and to help enable delivery of projects and initiatives at a local level.
It is the first grant scheme of its kind and Cllr Phil Knowles, Leader of the Council is proud of it:
