Harborough Council say waste removed from two large scale flytip sites last week weighed 45 tonnes and cost £16,000 to clean-up.
An investigation is on-going after the massive amount of household and construction materials were discovered on two dead-end roads of the A6 bypass between Kibworth & Great Glen.

The massive amount of household and construction waste, piled over a metre high in places and stretching along the entire length of the roads, is likely to have been dumped over several months.
Harborough Council contractors spent three days removing the waste, which was the biggest ever flytipping sites in the Harborough District.
Bollards have now been installed at the entrance to them, in a bid to prevent flytipping at the locations in the future.
