Work Begins On Welland Park Play Area Upgrade

Work has begun today to install new equipment in the children’s play area in Market Harborough’s Welland Park.

Harborough District Council is spending £49,000 on the upgrade, which will be carried out in phases over the next few weeks.

Play equipment is being upgraded

The first part of the work will include the installation of a new climbing unit, set of swings, cradle swing, sensory boards, seesaw springer and play boards.

The site will remain open during the upgrade, although parts will be fenced off as it takes place.
