Work Begins On New Greggs Store In Market Harborough

Work has begun on a new Greggs store in Market Harborough.

Contractors are now on site at Welland Business Park, where the new bakery will be built fronting Rockingham Road.

The store is expected to create around 16 new jobs and will be the chain’s second shop in the town.

It is intended to provide employees at the wider business park with a more accessible lunchtime option, with limited facilities currently available without travelling elsewhere by car.

How the new Greggs store is expected to look

Greggs says the new store will open next year, although a specific opening date has yet to be confirmed.

A spokesperson said: “Greggs is due to open a new shop in Welland Business Park, Market Harborough next year. While we are unable to share any details at the moment, we will share further information nearer the time.”

The planned opening hours are 6am to 7pm Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm on Saturdays and 8am to 5pm on Sundays.
