Women’s Football Thriving At Kibworth Town FC

Following England’s success in the women’s Euros, one of Harborough District’s biggest clubs is preparing to grow its number of girls’ and women’s teams even further.
Kibworth Town FC already has 10 girls’ specific teams, starting from under 8s up to the under 18s, comprising around 170 female players altogether.

It is hoped a senior women’s squad can now be formed, as the popularity of the game is set to continue to increase after the Lionesses’ historic win.
