Woman Arrested After Serious Assault In Market Harborough

A woman has been arrested in connection with a serious assault in Market Harborough town centre.
The 61-year-old has been questioned on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent, after a man was struck with a glass in Church Street on Sunday night.
The victim aged in his 50s was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries which were described by Police as ‘not life-threatening or life-changing’.
Officers say the woman has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
