Water Supply Problems Across Market Harborough Area
Written by HFM News on 19th December 2022
There are water supply problems in and around Market Harborough due to a number of burst pipes.
Severn Trent Water says it is affecting the LE16 postcode area, with some customers experiencing poor water pressure.

A Severn Trent spokesperson told HFM: “We would like to apologise to customers in the LE16 area of Leicestershire who are experiencing low water pressure.
“We are currently working to repair a series of bursts in the area which have been caused by the cold weather and will be ensuring that water pressure is returned to normal as quickly as possible.”
One burst pipe is on Bath Street in Market Harborough.
The leak near the entrance to Courtyard Workshops froze over the weekend, leaving sheet ice on the pavement and part of the road.
The spokesperson added: “We are aware of a burst water main on Bath Street as a result of the recent cold weather.
“Our teams have been out to evaluate the burst and determine the action required to make a repair.
We will be getting a team out to fix this burst and get everything back to normal as quickly as possible and would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
