Vandals Damage Allotment Site For Second Time In Two Weeks

Written by on 19th April 2021

Vandals have damaged an allotment used by adults with learning disabilities in Market Harborough, for the second time in two weeks.

Windows of a shed used by Freedom Support were smashed and a security camera wrecked.

Items were also removed from the shed and strewn across the plot.

It’s thought the damage, at the site off Stevens Street, happened on Friday evening, after it was discovered on Saturday morning.

Earlier this month, tables and chairs at the site were smashed.

Freedom Support, which provides training for people with learning disabilities and mental health needs, has had to again stop using the area until the damage is repaired.

Anyone information should call Police on 101.
