Written by on 24th June 2021

Over 120,000 Coronavirus vaccines have been given across Harborough.

The new milestone was reached yesterday and means 84% of adults in the District have had one jab and 67% both doses – one of the highest figures in the country.

Latest figures from Public Health England show 66, 918 people aged 18 and over have now received their first vaccine and 53,189 have been given two.

People are being encouraged to continue to get vaccinated when they are invited, as cases of Covid-19 in the Harborough District remain high, particularly in the Kibworth area, following an outbreak at the Kibworth Mead Academy school.
