Tributes Paid To Popular Harborough Man, Robin Garfield
Written by HFM News on 10th October 2018
Tributes are being paid to a popular Market Harborough man who died suddenly last week, aged 53.
Robin Garfield worked as a retained firefighter in Market Harborough for 28 years until 2012, was heavily involved in Harborough Theatre, both on and off the stage, and played for the town’s Rugby Club from a teenager til he was in his 30s.
He’s been described as a fantastic character, with a great sense of humour, who’ll be sadly missed by his family and friends.
Most recently Robin had run Capell Brothers Aerials, installing TV and radio aerials for people across the area, after taking on the business in 2015 and worked part-time for Stamps Funeral Directors.
His funeral will take place at St Dionysius Church on Friday at 1.30pm.
