Train Strikes Called Off But Two Days Of Disruption Continues
Written by HFM News on 3rd December 2021
A strike by conductors and train managers at East Midlands Railway has been suspended to allow new talks.
Members of the RMT union were due to take action today and tomorrow in disputes over safety, pay and conditions.
The train company says the short notice means it will still run a reduced timetable over the next two days, with half the usual number of trains serving Market Harborough.
The union says it is working on new proposals but warned of action later this month if no deal was struck.
