Toys On The Table Appeal Launches

The Hfm-backed Toys on The Table appeal has launched for 2022.
The appeal aims to ensure every disadvantaged youngsters across Leicestershire has a present to open on Christmas Day, when they otherwise wouldn’t.
Nearly 5,000 children benefited in 2021 and the number is set to be higher this year, because of cost-of-living pressures on families.

Harborough Market is again acting as the collection point for the appeal, after Harborough District Council pledged its support.
Over a thousand toys were donated in Market Harborough last year and Bill Bowley, vice chairman of Toys On The Table, spoke to HFM’s Nick Shaw:

The appeal supports babies up to children aged 16 and you can donate a new toy and gift, which must not be gift-wrapped. at Harborough Market during opening hours between Tuesday and Sunday.
