Thieves Target Work Vans In Broad Daylight

Tradespeople are being warned to be on guard after thieves targeted vans in Market Harborough in broad daylight.
Vehicles parked in the service yard of St Mary’s Place and outside Market Harborough Golf Club were broken into between 1pm and 2pm on Friday.
One van was broken into in the service yard of St Mary’s Place
Power tools worth £2,000 were stolen from the van belonging to town-based Alden Electrical in the area off St Mary’s Road, after the thieves drilled through a lock.
A tool storage chest was removed from the vehicle parked in the golf club car park, off Northampton Road.
Anyone with information about either incident should call Leicestershire Police on 101.
