Thieves Steal Tipper-Van

Thieves have stolen a tipper truck from the yard of a Market Harborough building company after ripping open padlocked gates.
They tied a tow rope to another vehicle to force open the entrance to yard where DS Ronald are based on Albert Road, sometime between 1am and 6am today.
Once inside they broke into the white Ford Transit tipper – which had the firm’s blue logo on the front – by smashing a window and drove off.

Police are appealing for sightings of the vehicle – which has the registration number NA58 VGD – and want to hear from anyone who saw suspicious persons or vehicles in and around Albert Road in the early hours of today.
