Tense Wait as Wildlife Hospital Tries to Hatch Rescued Duck Eggs

There is a tense wait at Leicestershire Wildlife Hospital as staff work to hatch 13 rescued duck eggs.

The charity was alerted after the eggs were removed from an allotment when their mum disappeared.

The team is now incubating the eggs and say early checks show promising signs of movement inside.

They are hopeful the ducklings will hatch safely in the coming days and say they will keep the public updated on their progress.
