It is not known who carried out the repair, which took place after HFM highlighted to issue last week.
Harborough District Council say it’s still trying to establish who owns bridge, which is on private land opposite the Railway Station, with a view to ensuring they take appropriate action to make it safe.
Cllr Peter James says a full structural survey needs to carried out to ensure it is safe.
