Teenager Jailed For Stabbing Man In Market Harborough

A teenager who stabbed a man in the entrance to a block of flats in Market Harborough has been jailed for 16 months.
Abdirahman Ali confronted the 22-year old-victim at Edwin Court, on Kettering Road, slashing him with a knife causing cuts to his head, chin and fingers which required several stitches,
The bleeding man then ran to near-by supermarket Aldi to get help.
Leicester Crown Court was shown CCTV footage of the attack on June 22nd, with a prosecution taking place despite the victim not making a formal complaint to Police.
19 year old Ali, of Sandhills Avenue, Leicester, admitted unlawful wounding and possessing a knife.
No motive for the assault was given in court.
