Two people arrested after a man was stabbed in Market Harborough have had their Police bail extended.

A man aged 18 and boy aged 16, both from Kettering, were arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent, following the attack in the Britannia Walk area in June.

The victim, aged 21, who was discovered near the entrance to Sainsbury’s supermarket, suffered wounds to his chest and leg and was taken to hospital by Air Ambulance for treatment.

A spokesperson for Leicestershire Police told Hfm detectives continue to liaise with the Crown Prosecution Service, who will decide whether any charges will be brought against the pair.
