St Di’s Clock Stops Again

The chimes have been silenced and time is standing still at the St Dionyisus Church in Market Harborough, after the clock broke again.
It was out of action for over three months last year, although started ticking and sounding again before Christmas following repairs and restoration work.
The same problem with the 117-year-old mechanism has re-occurred, with the clock reading 6.50.
It is due to be looked at by specialists again next week.
