Spelling Blunder On Roadworks Sign

Eagle-eyed motorists have spotted a spelling error on a sign warning of roadworks in Market Harborough.

Welland Park Road has been spelt ‘Wellend’ on the sign erected to alert drivers of telecom work taking place at the Northampton Road/Springfield Street/Welland Park Road junction.

Three-way temporary traffic lights have replaced the normal signals at the junction until Thursday and will be in-place again from April 22nd – 25th.

The company responsible for the works has been contacted for comment.
