An iconic silhouette of a British soldier has been placed beside the War Memorial in Market Harborough town centre, as part of commemorations to mark 100 years since the end of WW1.
The 6ft tall transparent aluminum figure with its head bowed and gun in hand has been put on The Square by Harborough Council.
It’s part of the national ‘There But Not There’ charitable campaign that is seeing the silhouettes placed across the country, ahead of the anniversary.
