Shop Shuts Temporarily After Staff Member Tests Positive For Coronavirus

A coffee house and homewares shop in Great Bowden has closed temporarily after a staff member tested positive for coronavirus.
The female worker at Bowden Stores went for a test after losing her sense of smell – it confirmed as positive last night.
The business was able to quickly contact all customers who visited when it was last open on Sunday, thanks to its own system, similar to the NHS Test & Trace one.
Specialist industrial cleaning contractors are being brought in tomorrow.
Owner of Bowden Stores, Dominie Cripps, spoke to Hfm:
It is the second business in the village to temporarily close, after a worker at the Red Lion pub tested positive last month.
