Security To Be Upgraded After Allotments Targeted By Vandals

Security is to be stepped up at allotments in Market Harborough following repeated vandal attacks.

Plans have been announced to install high fencing around the sites on Northampton Road and Stevens Street, meaning they would only be accessible to plot-holders.

Sheds and greenhouses have been broken into in recent weeks and items stored inside damaged.

The Market Harborough and the Bowdens Charity, who own both areas, has taken the decision to bolster the security.
