Search For Owner Of Wedding Ring Found In Blocked Drain

Written by on 19th March 2021

A search has been launched for the owner of a wedding ring who may have lost it at a Market Harborough factory decades ago.

It was found this week during work to unblock a drain in the male toilets at Harboro Rubber Company.

The gold ring has ‘KB’ and 3/7 engraved on the inside – likely to be the initials of the owner and the day he got married.

Other markings indicate it is 9ct gold, 7mm in width and dated 1970.

The factory on Riverside was previously occupied by Cleco – so the owner could have worked there.

Anyone who can help track down who the ring belongs to should call Wayne Clarke, Cleaning Supervisor at Harboro Rubber Company on 07710 988 038.
