Scott Embarks On Charity Burpees Challenge

Written by on 19th December 2025

An A&E doctor from Market Harborough has taken on a gruelling fitness challenge to raise money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

To mark his 40th birthday, Scott Castell is completing 400 chest-to-floor burpees every day for 40 days.

He was inspired to take on the challenge after former England and Leicester Tigers rugby player Lewis Moody was diagnosed with MND — the player who first motivated him to take up rugby as a student.
