Safety Fears As Hundreds Gather At Saddington Reservoir

There are fears someone will die if people continue to swim in Saddington Reservoir during the hot weather.

Hundreds of people have descended on the beauty spot for a second day, with some jumping into the water from height.

Swimming is banned due to the dangers that lie beneath the water.

There are also concerns about a lack of social distancing among those gathering and access to site being blocked for emergency vehicles, due to the large number of parked cars on the narrow entrance road.
