Rural Crime Concerns To Be Aired At Special Event

Concerns about rural crime across Harborough and what is being done to tackle it will be aired at a special event next month.

Harborough Community Safety Partnership is teaming up with Police, the Fire Service, charity Crimestoppers and the National Farmers Union to organise it.

The Rural Crime Event will take place at Kilworth Springs Golf Club in North Kilworth on February 7th, between 6:30pm and 8.30pm and farmers, land owners and rural business owners are being invited to go along.

Crime reduction agencies and businesses will also be at the event to promote crime prevention measures.

Harriet Ranson, county advisor for the National Farmers Union, told Hfm it is important issues affecting farmers and others living in rural communities are taken seriously:
