Cat Lucky To Be Alive After Sickening Attack

A family’s pet cat is lucky to be alive after being subjected to a sickening human-inflicted attack in Desborough.
Angus suffered serious injuries after being kicked so hard that a boot-shaped bruise was left on his abdomen.
His urethra was ruptured and his penis totally destroyed.

Specialist vets performed life-saving surgery on six-year-old Angus and after four days in intensive care he is now recovering at home.
It is thought he was attacked in the Copelands Road area of the town, where the Castledine family live.
The community is rallying round to help cover the vet bills, which total over £10,000, as the family’s pet insurance is only covering part of the costs.
Over £2,400 has been raised so far, after an on-line fundraiser was launched.
The family say they have been overwhelmed by the support and are extremely grateful for the donations.
