Runaway Sheep Bring Traffic to a Halt

A flock of around 50 sheep caused chaos on Farndon Road in Market Harborough yesterday afternoon.

Police were called just before 4.30pm after the animals escaped from a nearby field and began wandering along the road, bringing traffic to a standstill.

The farmer eventually rounded up the runaway flock and safely returned them to the field.
