Road Dug Up Five Weeks After It Was Re-Surfaced

Questions are being asked why a section of Kettering Road in Little Bowden is being dug up just over a month after a new road surface was laid.

Severn Trent Water is working at the Gores Lane junction to seal off an old pipe, following the laying of new ones in the area.
The firm has been granted a permit for the work, to be completed by tomorrow, by Leicestershire County Council, who resurfaced the section of road in January.
People have taken to social media, saying it is a waste of taxpayers’ money.
The Council has been approached for comment.
