The vast majority of residents who voted on whether or not to adopt their village Neighbourhood Plans have said “yes”!
Two referenda were held yesterday – in Great Bowden and East Langton – with the Count then taking place in the District Council Chamber.
Great Bowden approved theirs by 343 votes to 15 – whilst in East Langton it was 132 in favour and 15 against. The turnout for both polls was 41%.
Villagers in Medbourne will be balloted on their Neighbourhood Plan next Thursday.
