Elderly Residents Welcome Better Bus Service
Written by HFM on 12th July 2024
Residents of a retirement complex on the outskirts of Market Harborough are welcoming the change to a local bus route which means they now have a convenient hourly service into town.
Despite original promises that the bus stop outside Elizabeth House on Rockingham Road would have a frequent service, it’s been served by just one bus per week.
This prompted residents and to get in touch with their MP to see if the public transport situation could be improved.
Neil O’Brien MP says he’s very pleased that Stagecoach has agreed to alter the route of its 33 bus to serve the complex.
