Residents are demanding urgent action over several potholes on the main road between Desborough and Rothwell.
Drivers, motorcyclists, and cyclists are said to be at risk, with locals warning a serious collision could occur as motorists swerve to avoid the defects.

Numerous reports have been made to North Northamptonshire Council, with residents describing the lack of action as “very concerning.”
Some drivers have already suffered tyre blow-outs after hitting the potholes.

Cllr Jim Hakewell, independent ward councillor for Rothwell and Mawsley, told HFM he has never seen the roads in such poor condition and more funding is needed:
The council said it recognises the concerns and has carried out emergency repairs, with further defects scheduled to be fixed by 18 February.
A spokesperson added: “Safety is our priority and we will attend quickly to make locations safe following emergency reports.”
Repair work is also underway on the A6 bypass near Desborough, following complaints about the road surface near the Braybrooke Road roundabout, where several drivers have reported damage in recent weeks.
