A plan to build a solar farm and battery storage system between Kelmarsh and Clipston has been scrapped.
Regener8, the firm behind the renewable project, says the decision follows ‘a change in business strategy’.
It had launched a consultation with residents about the plan and was due to hold a public exhibition this week.

How one of the battery storage schemes near Braybrooke would look
The announcement comes as a proposal for another battery storage system on land near Braybrooke is revealed.
The schemes work by storing surplus renewable energy, before supplying it back to the National Grid when it is needed most.
Elmya Energy is behind the latest plan for land adjacent to an existing electricity substation off Harborough Road.
The area is next to a similar proposal by another company, while a further scheme is proposed close-by at Eckland Lodge, near Desborough.
Elmya Energy is holding a community consultation event at Braybrooke Village Hall on Thursday (April 10th) between 2pm and 7pm for people to find out more about its proposal.
The firms behind all the plans say they intend to lodge planning applications with North Northamptonshire Council.
