Prolific Burglars Jailed

Two prolific burglars who targeted nine houses in a single day have been jailed.

The men stole expensive jewellery, cash, and other items from houses in The Ridgeway, Market Harborough, Thornton Crescent, Church Langton, plus homes in Scraptoft, Thurnby and in Lincolnshire, on July 4th last year.

The car they used was spotted by Police in Northamptonshire later in the day and after a pursuit the men were arrested with the stolen property inside.

49-year-old Patrick Cash, of Elizabeth Road, Rothwell, has been jailed for seven and half years at Lincoln Crown Court and Mick Connors – also 49 – of Arbour View Court, Northampton, five years and three months.
