Power Cut Hits Harborough Estate

National Grid is working to restore electricity to over 50 homes in Market Harborough.

The power went off on the Farndale View estate off Lubenham Hill just after 7am today.

An underground network fault caused the outage and repairs are continuing in the hope supplies can be restored by 8pm.

A National Grid Electricity Distribution spokesperson told HFM: “We’d like to thank customers for their patience and understanding as our engineers restore power as quickly and safely as possible.

“Anyone who experiences a power cut should call us on 105. Customers who need extra help and support should sign-up to our free Priority Services Register so they can receive additional support during a power cut.”
