Police Cordon In Place After Incident Near Theddingworth

Emergency services are at the scene of an incident near Theddingworth.

They were called to Mowsley Road just before 12.30pm and the road remains closed, with people urged to avoid the area.

Leicestershire Police have not yet released any more details as to the nature of the incident.

A spokesperson told HFM: “A police cordon is currently in place in the area of Mowsley Road, Theddingworth.

“Emergency services remain in attendance at the scene.

“For safety reasons, a cordon remains in place in the area and people are being asked to avoid the area.

“Further updates will be provided when we are able to.”
