Police Conduct Road Safety Operation In Market Harborough

A car was seized during a Police road safety operation in Market Harborough today because the driver had no insurance.
Other motorists were stopped by officers on Springfield Street for offences including using a mobile phone at the wheel and not wearing seatbelts.

Specialists were also on-hand to check whether child seats had been correctly fitted.
Members of Leicestershire’s Roads Policing Unit teamed up with local officers to conduct the operation.
