Plans to build five three-storey townhouses on the site of a former Army Cadet Force building in Market Harborough have been withdrawn.
The proposal would have seen the building off Coventry Road demolished to make way for the development.

No reason has been given for the withdrawal, although Anglian Water had objected over concerns about drainage infrastructure and a sewer crossing the site.
It is not yet clear whether the scheme has been abandoned entirely, or if a revised planning application will be submitted to Harborough District Council in the future.
