A controversial plan to turn land in Little Bowden into a private dog walking field is set to be thrown out.
Planners say the six foot high mesh fencing proposed for around the two-and-a half acre site off Braybrooke Road would create an eye-sore and also question the need for such a facility.

Over 70 people have objected to the plan – Harborough Council’s Planning Committee will be urged to refuse permission for it when they meet next week.
In May Harborough Council acted to ensure no work could take place until it considered the application, serving an ‘Immediate Article 4 Direction’ notice on the land, which removed certain permitted development rights, meaning no gates, fences or walls could be put up.
