Person Injured In Crash On A6 Bypass

One person was injured in a crash on the A6 Market Harborough bypass this morning.

Emergency services were called to the stretch of the road near the McDonald’s roundabout just after 9.45am.

Two cars were involved in the collision.

Leicestershire Police say the occupant of one of the cars was taken to hospital and their injuries are not thought to be life-changing or life-threatening.

Fire crews from Market Harborough and Kibworth attended the scene to make the vehicles involved safe.

The road was closed in both directions between the McDonald’s roundabout and A427/Rockingham Road roundabout while the incident was dealt with.
