Over 90 Ukrainian Refugees To Stay With Families Across Harborough

More residents across Harborough are opening up their homes to Ukrainian refugees than in any other part of Leicestershire.
91 people who have fled the war have now been granted visas to travel to the UK and stay with families in the District.
The kind-hearted residents signed up to the government’s Homes for Ukraine scheme and numbers are set to increase as more applications are processed.
The refugees granted permission to come to the Harborough District are among 288 to so far given visas to stay with families in Leicestershire, while 189 will be accommodated in North Northamptonshire and 245 West Northamptonshire.
Anyone with a spare room or home is able to offer to sponsor someone from Ukraine, provided it can be offered for at least .six months.
