Officer Draws Taser During Arrest In Desborough

Police pointed a taser gun at a man in Desborough after he ran off from officers following a domestic incident at a house.
The 27-year-old was found near-by a short time later and arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage.
Police were called to Union Street at 12.45pm on Saturday and a spokesperson for Northamptonshire Police told HFM: “Upon police arrival, the suspect has ran from officers, however he was apprehended swiftly and arrested.
“A taser was drawn by an officer during the arrest but was not discharged.”
The man has been released on bail, pending further enquiries.
