‘No Serious’ Injuries After Crash In Residential Street

Police say no-one was seriously injured after a crash in a residential street on Desborough.

Emergency services were called to Ironwood Avenue on the Grange estate just after 5pm yesterday, following the collision involving a black Volkswagen and a white Mercedes.

Other vehicles were also damaged in the incident.

A spokesperson for Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service told HFM: “We were called to reports of a road traffic collision at Ironwood Avenue in Desborough just after 5pm yesterday (September 18).

“Crews from Rothwell and Kettering were quickly on the scene, and found that four vehicles were damaged as a result of the collision.

“Fire crews made the vehicles and the surrounding area safe, and returned to their stations just before 6.30pm.”

A Northamptonshire Police spokeswoman said: “No one sustained any serious injuries.”
